Nest of Dreams

Home to a nest of dreams

they tangle in your hair

†† until the evening of orange skies fall

††† in curtains around you

†† One more wish comes true

†††† when you turn your mouthís corners up,

†††††††† to say hello to me.

In the jasmine eye of night

the sweet smell of perfume alone

† demurred to the back room of love

† You donít wait for any more disquises

Jammed up against the mountains

†† and shoved toward the beaches

†††† In sheltered crests of hanging truth

Each wave breaks another day

on the back of a humpback whale.
